Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WhenTo, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the service.

Description of Service

WhenTo is a collaborative calendar service that allows users to create calendars, add participants, and coordinate their availability. The service is available as a cloud (hosted) version and a self-hosted version.

User Accounts

To use certain features of WhenTo, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information during registration
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
  • All activities performed under your account

Subscriptions and Payments

WhenTo offers free and paid plans. For paid subscriptions:

  • Billing is annual and processed through Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time from your management area
  • Refunds are granted on a case-by-case basis according to our refund policy

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use WhenTo for:

  • Illegal or fraudulent activities
  • Distributing harmful, defamatory, or offensive content
  • Sending spam or unsolicited communications
  • Interfering with the operation of the service or servers
  • Impersonating another person or entity

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on WhenTo (calendars, descriptions, etc.). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display this content as part of providing the service. You are responsible for the content you post.

Intellectual Property

WhenTo, its logo, design, and source code are protected by copyright. The source code is available under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL), allowing self-hosting for personal or internal use. The WhenTo trademark and associated visual elements remain our exclusive property.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We disclaim any liability for data loss or service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WhenTo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the past 12 months.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service in case of violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified by email or through the service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
